Suzi Lamore, Pilates InstructorSuzy Lamore discovered the power of Pilates in 2003 in Portland, Oregon, where she was introduced to the classic Pilates method by a dear friend who had been a Pilates devotee for several years.  Moving to New Orleans in late 2006 was the ideal time to change career direction from corporate and real estate to pursue an education in Pilates, and her beloved physical fitness hobby of Pilates has turned out to be a life-changing practice.  She feels fortunate to have studied under the top teacher-trainers in the Romana’s True Pilates organization, learning from master trainers in New York, Seattle, Portland, Princeton and New Orleans, and became a Pilates Instructor after completing the 700 hour intensive program early 2009.

She states, “One of the main reasons I wanted to become a certified Romana’s True Pilates instructor is because it is a discipline that can benefit EVERYONE, regardless of age or fitness level.  I have the highest respect for the system that Joseph Pilates developed, and I am thrilled to be part of preserving that by deepening my own knowledge and practice of the Pilates program and encouraging others through high-quality education and inspirational instruction.  Pilates truly maximizes each person’s potential to be fit, strong and flexible.”  She continues to build upon her knowledge of the method, attending workshops and seminars around the country as often as possible.

Suzy is excited to be a Pilates Instructor at Baudry Therapy Center and welcomes everyone to   – “Come join us in building a strong core to support a healthy, supple spine!”
