Rachel Fanguy, DPT earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2020 and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans in 2023.

In her role as a physical therapist, Rachel works with patients of all ages to help patients improve mobility and strength for daily enhancement or to advance health performance. She has treated a wide range of patients with various orthopedic and neurologic conditions. She enjoys treating Parkinson’s disease and helping these patients move their best. Along with caring for these patients in the clinic, she also leads a free weekly virtual stretch session that is focused on getting our Parkinson’s community together to share weekly health tips and Parkinson’s-specific stretching.

With her cheer and tumbling background, Rachel has a passion for getting patients back to what they love.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants throughout the city, and cheering on the Saints. She is a Baton Rouge, LA native and currently resides in Harahan with her husband, Chris and their chocolate lab, Hazel.
