Blake Cookmeyer, DPT earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2016 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2019.
During his time as a physical therapist in New Orleans, Blake has treated patients of all ages with a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses. With past competitive experience in both soccer and volleyball, Blake has enjoyed working with a few local professional beach volleyball players, as well as high school athletes in the area. He is certified in both Dry Needling and Personalized Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Rehabilitation.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Blake is a die-hard New Orleans Pelicans fan. He participates in multiple local sports leagues including beach volleyball and flag football. He currently lives in Metairie with his wife, young son, and golden doodle, Jrue.
