Jillian Wood, PTA earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science from UL Lafayette in 2020 and earned her Associate’s Degree for Physical Therapist Assistant from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge in 2022.
In her role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Jillian works directly with the physical therapists to help patients improve mobility and motion for daily enhancement or to advance health performance. Jillian also is a part of our BRIOworks team.
She is certified in LSVT BIG Therapy for the treatment of Parkinson’s patients and enjoys working with these patients because she enjoys seeing the patients’ progression from the first treatment to the last. Jillian enjoys encouraging her patients through all of the triumphs and challenges they encounter. She sees it as a wonderful blessing to play a part in each of their unique journeys.
As a true Cajun, Jillian loves to cook and looks for any opportunity to talk about her family’s extensive boudin history. Jillian can always be found listening to music and even taught herself to play the guitar. She is a Eunice native and currently resides in Covington with her husband.
