BRIO Fitness Challenge for May – the push up. The push up is a great all around test of strength, stability and endurance. Just ask our favorite NFL quarterback Drew Brees.

BRIO Fitness Challenge for May is the push up. Pick the appropriate version of the push up and start today. See the videos below for options.

General Guidelines:

  • Choose the push up version below that is challenging but pain free. Shoot for at least 15 repetitions.
  • Do one max set of the push up
  • Perform2-4x/week depending on your current fitness level.
  • Increase the number of repetitions from week to week by 10% /week.

Date: This Wednesday, April 30th, here at Baudry Therapy Center from 6:30-7:30

Lymphedema treatment
Lymphedema is an accumulation of protein rich fluid in one part of the body.  The most common (but not the only)
cause of lymphedema in the United States is a result of lymph node removal and/or radiation treatment following
breast cancer, resulting in a swollen arm.

If you or someone you know has had a problem with swelling in the extremities, or lymphedema, please invite them. We would love to have them come learn more about  Lymphedema, and how to manage chronic swelling issues.
